Application FAQs

1. What other documents do I need to include?

In addition to your completed application form you must submit certification of your academic qualifications. We will require either notarised copies of your qualification documents or sight of the originals (please do not send original certificates in the post); if you are applying for entry to the Super Accelerated route you must also provide a transcript of your first MBA; if your first language is not English you may be required to provide evidence of your ability; completed reference form; current resume; photograph for identification purposes.

2. Who can be my referee?

Your referee should be a person who has known you in a professional or academic capacity for at least 12 months, in order that they can comment on your abilities in these areas. Family / friends cannot be used as referees.

3. How do I apply for a scholarship?

A limited number of scholarships are available for each intake and can only be considered to candidates who have enrolled on their programme through paying the initial deposit. Please note that awards are valid only for the intake specified and may not be transferred to on-campus programmes. Further information on the available scholarships can be found here.

4. Do I have to have membership of CBI before entry?

No. As a student of the Chartered Banker MBA or Postgraduate Certificate in Bank Management & Technology you will gain student membership with the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI). To retain your membership with the Chartered Banker Institute an annual membership payment is required.

5. What if English is not my first language?

If your native language is not English; it is not your spoken language at your place of work; and you have not studied a University course through the medium of English, you must provide satisfactory evidence that you have an adequate knowledge and understanding of written and spoken English. 6. How soon will I hear from the admissions team?

Once your application have been received and your eligibility and pathway determined, you will receive a decision on your application within 7 working days and an offer letter will be issued to your preferred email address.

7. How do I check the progress of my application?
