Alex Sanchez serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Florida Bankers Association (FBA), the leading voice for Florida’s banking industry. Alex represents and advocates for Florida’s banking industry before all legislative and regulatory bodies in Tallahassee and Washington, bringing great insight into banking and business matters drawn from his extensive experience.

Alex Sanchez

Alex serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Florida Bankers Association (FBA).  Founded in 1888, and located in Tallahassee, the FBA is the leading voice for Florida’s banking industry.  Alex’s responsibilities include representing and advocating for Florida’s banking industry before all legislative and regulatory bodies in Tallahassee and in Washington. 

Before joining the FBA, Alex was an attorney at Sinclair Louis, a Miami based law firm, specializing in business law; Consolidated Bank, Assistant General Counsel; and the Florida Department of Commerce, General Counsel. In August of 2019, Alex was appointed to the Advisory Board of Directors to the EXIM Bank based in Washington DC. 

Alex has appeared as a regular guest the past 10 years on CNBC’s Closing Bell show, the last eight on Mornings with Maria hosted by Maria Bartiromo, and other Fox Business News Network and Bloomberg TV and radio shows.

Stephen Jones 

Stephen is the Chartered Banker MBA Academic Director and Director of Business Relations for Bangor Business School. He teaches undergraduate, postgraduate, and post-experience executive modules. Having introduced the teaching of ‘entrepreneurship' and 'e-business' at Bangor he now focuses on the disciplines of business, management & marketing - & in supporting Small & Medium-sized Enterprises under Government-sponsored engagement projects.
